Job Description
• Teach undergraduate courses in two or more of these disciplines: Retail Merchandising/Apparel or Home Product Development/Textiles/Materials • Participate in curriculum development/maintenance • Conduct a consistent program of research, scholarly and/or creative activity • Advise Design & Merchandising undergraduates • Actively participate in committee responsibilities at the program, department, college, and university levels • Actively participate in professional organizations related to the discipline

Additional Salary Information: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements
• Master’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related subject and/or 10+ years of industry experience. • Subject Matter expertise in two or more of these disciplines: Fashion Merchandising/Apparel or Home Product Development/Textiles/Materials or Retail Management/Buying • Demonstrate knowledge of the Fashion, Product and Design & Merchandising discipline and/or experience working in Fashion, Product and Design & Merchandising or equivalent • A minimum of 3 years of experience in university undergraduate teaching and advising • Evidence of current/ongoing research in Fashion, Product and/or Design & Merchandising • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain national and /or international apparel industry contacts • Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community
